The Halo Sport app is designed to control the Halo Sport headset, a wearable neurostimulator that enhances skill, power, and endurance when used alongside training. By stimulating the motor cortex of the brain during training, Halo Sport improves the communication between the brain and muscles, resulting in stronger and more optimized signaling. Many athletes, musicians, gamers, military professionals, and others use Halo Sport to accelerate their muscle memory development. WHAT IS NEUROPRIMING
With the Halo Sport app, users can access three different Neuropriming sessions: Legs, Core, & Arms; Hand & Fingers - Right Emphasis; and Hand & Fingers - Left Emphasis. Each session utilizes Halo Sport's foam Primers to electrically stimulate specific areas of the motor cortex, inducing a temporary state of hyperplasticity. This hyperplastic brain state, when paired with training reps focused on the user's goal, enhances precision, coordination, and explosive movements. To dive deeper into the science behind Neuropriming, you can visit the blog section dedicated to neuroscience at blog.haloneuro.com/neuroscience.
WHO IS USING HALO SPORT
Halo Sport is being utilized by professional sports teams and athletes from various disciplines such as the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and Olympics to enhance their athleticism. For instance, a double-blind, placebo-controlled study conducted with the U.S. Olympic Ski Team revealed that ski jumpers who trained with Halo Sport experienced an additional 13% increase in propulsive force and an 11% improvement in jump smoothness compared to the control group after ten consecutive training days. You can find more examples of athletes and musicians utilizing Halo Sport on the official YouTube channel at youtube.com/c/HaloNeuroscience.
THE SCIENCE BEHIND HALO SPORT
Halo Sport is built upon the scientific principles of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). With over a decade of neuroscience research and more than 3,000 peer-reviewed articles covering over 105,000 sessions, tDCS has been proven to be both safe and effective. The Halo Neuroscience team, consisting of doctors, scientists, and engineers, has constructed Halo Sport to meet medical-grade specifications and conducted successful tests involving more than 1,400 volunteers. HOW TO USE HALO SPORT
To maximize results, it is recommended to use Halo Sport during a 20-minute warm-up before engaging in focused, movement-based training. Simply dampen the Primers with water, wear the Halo Sport headset like any standard pair of headphones, and activate a 20-minute Neuropriming session through the Halo Sport app. Once the session concludes, you can remove the headset (or leave it on to listen to music) and proceed with your training. Your brain will remain in a hyperplastic state for 60 minutes, allowing you to perform high-quality and high-intensity reps during this time.
